Sequins+Midis+Stripes+Pumps+Orange and Pink combos = My Faves!!

I've had this sequin midi for a couple of months now but I could never figure out how I wanted to wear it. When I originally purchased it I wanted it in a fun color (jade green) so that it could be versatile for day and night but they were all sold out in my size, so I settled for the black. I challenged myself to make this skirt fun and not look too dressed up, so I pair it with this cute multi color stripe crop tank. The color combo just makes me think of summer and I love it!

Tomato Red

Hey Ladies! As promised, here is the OOTD featuring the red sheer top. I didn't post the pics right away because the the sun was shining really bright and the lighting was off. I wanted to see if I could fix it, but I couldn't :0( so I just posted them as is.

On to the fit:

Red has never been my color, I just never thought that it complimented my skin-tone. I've realized that it has to be bright red (almost an orange red) for me to wear it so
this one I'm liking.

DIY: 3.1 Phillip Lim Sleeveless Studded Sweatshirt

Hey Everybody! I thought I would bring you a DIY project! Now i'm usually not the DIY type, I'd rather just go out and buy something than to make it (patience is a virtue lol). However when I spotted this 3.1 Phillip Lim studded sweatshirt I thought, "I could make this" and with that price tag, I know I would have to make it if I wanted it lol.

I just love how they paired it with the pastel jeans. I would add my Pastel Yellow Cap Toe pumps to complete the Spring ready look!

All you would need is an old sweatshirt (dad's, boyfriend's, Thrift or Walmart), cut the sleeves off and add some dome studs (ebay) and Voila! Phillip Lim for under 10 bucks!

Will any of you be attempting this? Also let me know of any DIY projects that you want to work on. I want to get more into DIY and be a little more crafty.

Snakeskin and Neon

Last night I went to a concert/comedy show (Anthony David and Joe Clair) with a friend of mine. It was raining so the first outfit I had in mind did not work, but look out for it on the blog soon! Hint: It includes polka dots!

Because of the weather I decided to keep it simple and wear all black and add a pop of neon, a huge trend this season. I wasn't able to get many photos because I was rushing as always lol.
